The Sacrament of Confirmation is a two year preparation class, beginning in the 7th grade. The Sacrament of Confirmation typically is celebrated during a child’s 8th grade year. Candidates for this Sacrament are to be enrolled in the Faith Formation program at Saint Ann and must complete all requirements (i.e., service hours, letter to the Pastor, etc.) prior to the reception of the Sacrament.

Sponsors for each candidate must be a practicing Catholic who is at least 16 years of age and who has received the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. If married, the sponsor is to be in a valid Catholic marriage.
Parents are to be registered members of Saint Ann Catholic Church and have completed all the paperwork required by the Religious Education department for participation in this Sacrament.
