Saint Ann Church Family of Ministries

Saint Ann Parish is a family parish where the parishioners combine their efforts and talents to provide for the smooth running of the Church. By doing so, they also create a spiritual and communal atmosphere wherein each member of the family can develop to the fullest his or her spiritual and temporal potential.

Saint Ann Liturgical Ministry:

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist: Refer to lay men or women who are deputed to assist the priest and deacon with distributing Holy Communion during Mass, or to bring Holy Communion to the sick who are homebound. Altar Servers: Children of the parish, beginning in 4th grade, assisting as servers to the Celebrant during the Mass.  Altar Servers carry the cross, hold the book for the priest, carry the incense and censer, present the bread, wine and water to the priest during the preparation of the gifts or to assist him when he receives the gifts from the people.  If your child/children are interested in being an Altar Server, please email Fr Remo: This email address is being protected from spambots. Sacristan:The sacristan is a lay person who “diligently arranges the liturgical books, the vestments and vessels that are necessary for the celebration of Mass”.  The sacristan is well-trained in the complexities of the liturgical actions, as well as those of special Masses or those of greater solemnity, so as to make appropriate provisions.  If you are interested in being a Sacristan, please email Fr Remo: This email address is being protected from spambots. Ushers and Greeters:Ushers and Greeters are men and women who take up the collections in the church; also, they welcome the faithful at the church doors, seat them appropriately and marshal them in processions.  Members of the Holy Name and Parishioners are our Ushers and Greeters.  If you are interested in being an Usher and/or Greeter, please email Fr Remo: This email address is being protected from spambots. St Ann Music Ministry:  The St Ann Music Ministry is made up of persons drawn from the community who possess the requisite musical skills that when applied to the liturgies, foster the active participation of the faithful.
